bicom is seeking a candidate with strong leadership skills; someone who’s proactive, detail oriented, and organised with a deep understanding of social media that can plan, execute, and improve the agency’s social media and digital marketing service offering.

The ideal candidate is creative, collaborative (but also autonomous when needed), accountable and driven by new challenges faced within an ever-evolving industry. The Senior Specialist is expected to quickly effect positive change by leveraging their own existing expertise and support from their bicom team.



  • Develop the agency’s targeted digital service offering and identify needs accordingly: social media, content creation, content marketing and task & strategy execution
  • Actively ensure all agency employees are being coached on improving their digital marketing skillset
  • Identify additional agency needs in the digital service domain and identify partners to deliver these services.
  • Propose and manage digital service optimization strategies and make clear recommendations (with direction, tactics, timeline, allocation, and budget)
  • Work in close collaboration with the management team to ensure the company is set for success
  • Promptly report concerns/problems to management that could impact agency/client success and propose solutions to mitigate risks
  • Develop digital strategies and integrated communication plans for the agency and its clients
  • Be constantly on the lookout for new digital services and ensure that bicom is always up to date in its service offering by regularly carrying out industry audits
  • Work together with directors to ensure optimal integration of digital services and quality deliverables
  • Train employees and/or find the appropriate training to master necessary expertise and cultivate a team with a 360 skillset
  • Address team shortcomings by performing the required tasks or request temporary reinforcements from other teams
  • Participate in brainstorms, service offers and new business pitches
  • Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing between teams and act as a mentor by training junior staff
  • Find development opportunities with potential and existing customers
  • Set an example of know-how and interpersonal skills, act as a leader both in relation to their expertise and attitude, act as a resource within the management team and showcase calm in the face of difficult situations
  • Act as a bicom ambassador and actively contribute to agency growth



  • Minimum of 5 years experience in digital communications and social media
  • Agency experience is an asset
  • Creativity and rigor
  • Ability to distinguish themselves as a touchpoint for strategic counsel
  • Capacity to master all the agency’s digital services to effectively showcase and present them to prospective clients
  • Self sufficient, resourceful, ambitious, detail oriented and organised
  • Solution-oriented, curious and in the know of latest market and industry trends
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage many deliverables simultaneously
  • Ability to work on a team and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and French
  • Willing to travel between Montréal and Toronto


  • Mastery of current social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube
  • Mastery of Adobe creative tools (In Design/Photoshop) or other comparable tools
  • Experience with social media management and analytics tools (such as Hootsuite, Unmetric, or any other comparable tool)
  • Strong understanding of paid advertising on all social media platforms
  • In-depth understanding of how to analyze/quantify campaign insights and results
  • Ability to set up accurate and achievable KPIs/results for campaigns
  • Posses a strong understanding of community management principles
  • Experience working in close collaboration with influencers at all tiers (nano, micro, macro, celebrity)
  • Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics, and Facebook Business Manager
  • Experience with Google Ad Words
  • Experience with Traackr
  • Tech savvy and experienced with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
