Meditation: self care to become more indulgent towards ourselves

At bicom, we offer a health break every Friday morning. The team gathers virtually for a guided meditation session led by the amazing Laurence Mercier. This peaceful moment of calm helps us refocus, relax, and grow stronger together.

Marie-Noëlle Hamelin, our President, is an inspiration for others in the book Mentores

On April 23, 2024, the book Mentores by Brigitte Jalbert was released, in which Marie-Noelle recounts her inspiring journey and talks about the values ​​that dictate her very participative leadership style. Here is an excerpt: There is a very pronounced human side to us. Being in business, we are certainly results-oriented, but our ways of doing things exude empathy, understanding and kindness. We do things in a way that allows our team members to have the space to do their work and to take initiatives. The important thing for me is to create a safe space where it’s okay to make mistakes, to have limits, to be yourself.

The new bicom offices; super accessible by public transit!

Inaugurated in May 2024, the new bicom office is located on St-Hubert Street, just 3 minutes from Beaubien metro station, with several bus lines serving this vibrant neighborhood! Committed to promoting public transit and BIXI, bicom prioritized accessibility by alternative transportation methods over cars when selecting its new location. As a result, the majority of employees now use public transit, significantly reducing their carbon footprint

Lise Watier Foundation

The Fondation Lise Watier has launched the S’Entreprendre Program, a unique intervention approach designed to encourage financial independence for women in need. bicom’s role in working with the Foundation was to promote the new program in the Quebec media, while increasing awareness of the organization (ongoing since 2016).
