The Walt Disney Studios Canada mandated bicom to meet its public relations and advertising needs by designing and executing effective media relations and marketing strategies to promote and publicize theatrical releases and content on the Disney+ platform in the Quebec market.

In addition to achieving optimal coverage and exposure, bicom was also responsible for customizing written, promotional and digital communications for The Walt Disney Studios Canada and its entities (including Marvel, Stars, National Geographic, FX, Lucasfilm, 21st Century Fox, Searchlight) to resonate with Quebec audiences.



Media Relations

As part of this mandate, bicom distributed promotional communications (press releases) to journalists from major media outlets in Quebec. In addition, bicom was responsible for coordinating interviews with members of the production team (artists, producers), coordinating press screenings for theatrical releases, and coordinating press trips when necessary. 

Event Coordination

Bicom was also responsible for planning strategic partnerships with lifestyle media and content creators to organize online contests and ensure engaging participation in promotional viewings.

Content Localization

As experts on the Quebec market, bicom has undertaken valuable research on the evolution of the film market to provide insightful recommendations on communication and promotional components, including digital content, press releases and trailers.
